French Early Electro Magnetic Mantel Clock by Bulle

An early electric clock by Bulle Clock of France. Maurice Favre-Bulle is credited with the development of this intriguing electro-magnetic clock just prior to World War One. This example dates to 1920 and is beautifully presented under a cut crystal dome on an ebonized base.

A battery-driven mechanism powers the clock with a magnetic coil pendulum oscillating from side to side. The skeletonized movement is by ATO. The time displays on a painted dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel spade and whip hands, and an open center exposing the movement. Signed Bulle, Patent.

This unique clock bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty.
