This remarkable organ comes with six cardboard music books, allowing a repertoire of enchanting melodies.
Born in 1933, Arthur Prinsen is among the most prestigious names in the organ world. Over their career, Prinsen and his wife Paula made incredible contributions to the preservation and exhibition of organs. Prinsen went on to build his own organs in the 1980s with the 49 and 32 key street organs, such as the example here, among his most popular. In an article detailing Prinsen’s life and career by Belgian society MechaMusica in 2009, it was estimated that only about 85 models of the 32-key organs were ever produced, making this piece a truly rare example.
