This delightful mantel clock is the culmination of the unique Art Nouveau era and the fine craftsmanship of the Chelsea Clock Company. The case is sleekly styled in opulent Italian marble with gilt bronze. Embellished with a characteristically sinuous Art Nouveau maiden in a long flowing gown and with loosely gathered hair, gracefully embracing the clock dial. A tree in the background and dragonfly border on the base exemplify nature-inspired Art Nouveau elements.

Keeping the time within this wonderful clock is an 8-day time-only mechanical movement by the venerable American clock manufacturer, Chelsea Clock Company of Boston, Massachusetts. The time displays on a stunning dial of conforming color with Art Nouveau radial numerals, gilt twig-form hands, and a central engraved sunburst on a ground of tight concentric rings.
