American Edison Triumph Cylinder Phonograph

Thomas Edison is credited with the invention of the first reliable phonograph. The Edison phonograph utilized cylinders as the medium to record and play recordings. Cylinders slid onto a spindle and played initially for two minutes and quickly evolved to four minutes. This Triumph model plays both cylinder durations. A simple turn of a crank winds the large mainspring mechanism that powers the phonograph.

This model presents in an oak case complete with a domed cover with turned wood carrying handle, and a 12-panel black metal horn. The Edison signature logo is on the case front and the exterior mechanics. Further, this fully restored phonograph comes with a one-year warranty and 6 cylinders of choice.

Truly a treasure of entertainment and musical recording history.

NOTE:  Phonograph is shown on an Oak 5-Drawer Cylinder Storage Cabinet — Item No. LPEA 18 P — listed and sold separately.
