French Spelter Statue Clock
This lovely patinated spelter statue clock features a reclining woman with a flowing shawl. A putti with a horn serenades her. The sculpture is entitled “Ondine” and signed F Moreau.
The clock itself rests within an engraved structure that also has bird, flower and shell motifs. The porcelain dial has hand painted garlands, gilt brass hands and Roman numerals.
The sculpture rests atop a contoured marble base.
The two train movement strikes on a bell on the hour and half hour. The clock also comes with a one year warranty.
