Rolex Day-Date In 18K Yellow Gold

First introduced in the 1950s, the Rolex Day-Date broke ground as the first watch to offer a date and day of the week display coupled with a waterproof and self-winding movement. Arguably one of the most prestigious watches in Rolex’s line, the Day-Date holds an iconic place amongst the watch world to this day. An astounding 31 jewel automatic movement powers this momentous timepiece, which is water-resistant up to 100 meters. This watch dates to the late 1970s and survives with its original cardboard and leather boxes, wax seal, and certification label, making it an astounding addition for any watch enthusiast or collector.

This timepiece is crafted in Rolex’s luxurious 18K yellow gold alloy with a solid gold tritium dial and fluted bezel. The dial rests behind a sapphire crystal and features rare half-minute markers between each gold baton hour with a cyclops lens over the date. Finally, this timepiece features the iconic three-piece Presidential bracelet surviving with minimal wear and high tension in the links.
