Swiss Leather Covered Desk Clock by Gübelin

A handsome leather-covered desk clock from the distinguished house of Gübelin in Lucerne, Switzerland. In the middle 1800s, Gübelin established itself in the watch-making business before moving into the luxury jewelry business it is known for today. This desk clock houses an 8-day 17, jewel movement within a case covered in tawny brown leather. The time displays on a silvered dial with black Roman numerals upon applied brass sheild forms. Signed “E. Gubelain, Lucerne.” Further, this clock bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty. A great-looking clock and suitable for a variety of uses and decor.
