Tudor with Child Austrian Vienna Bronze by Carl Kauba

A young boy attempts to study while controlling an unruly child. The bronze base reads “Stadium Mit Hindernissen”, which amusingly translates to “Studying with Obstacles”.

Sculpted by Carl Kauba, this bronze bears a stamped foundry seal and the signiture “C Thenn”, a known pseudonym Kauba worked under.
