This fine furniture replica beautifully captures the elegance of the French Empire period. A writing desk expertly crafted with exotic Honduran mahogany veneers. The case features a richly grained writing surface accented by a surround of line inlay and flame mahogany. The flame mahogany continues around the sides of the case which has a single center drawer. Supported on elegantly curved and scrolled cross-legs joined by a turned stretcher and resting on beveled brass feet. This piece is in excellent condition overall and makes a stunning furniture accent piece suited to a variety of uses.
