American Open Face Pocket Watch by South Bend

An American pocket watch dating to the early 1900’s and crafted by the South Bend Watch Company of Indiana. South Bend Watch was established by three Studebaker brothers when they purchased the Columbus Watch Company. A highly skilled team of watchmakers, mainly German, made the transition between the two companies. This great example of South Bend craftmanship is a Size 16 open-face pocket watch featuring a 20-year gold-filled case with a finely textured bezel and decorative reverse. A center crest on the reverse would allow for personalization.

Keeping the time within is a 15 jewel Grade 207 movement. The time displays on a fancy porcelain dial with a subtle blue center, Arabic numerals, decorative minute markers, spade hands, and a seconds subsidiary dial. Further, this wonderful American timepiece also bears a full restoration and an 18-month warranty.
