American 15 1/2″ Disc Music Box by Porter

This wonderful disc music box is a superb replica of a turn-of-the-century Regina music box. Expertly produced by the Porter Music Box Company of Vermont. Crafted in exotic African mahogany with a beadwork trimmed dome top and elegant boxwood string inlays. The case is supported on turned pad feet, allowing for enhanced resonance.

Equally impressive within is the 156-note double comb fully mechanical movement that elicits a delightfully rich and clear tone. A simple wind of the side crank, along with the quick flip of a lever, sets the musical magic in motion. The interior of the case also features a center of Brazilian rosewood inlay with the Porter logo.

A selection of six antique discs is included with this beautiful music box. In addition to hundreds of antique discs, over 1,000 titles are available on newly produced discs, many of which are made by Porter.
