French Cast Brass Empire Style Table Lamp
This handsome table lamp in the Empire style is crafted of cast brass and is adjustable in height. A richly decorated and swirled base embellished with a ribbon and floral border supports the center column from which the arched light arm extends. The fluted arm is ornamented with an acanthus leaf and leads to a frosted glass shade that finishes with a flourish of acanthus leaf ruffles. A laurel wreath finial atop doubles as a handle, and an arrow fletching styled knob serves to adjust the arm height. This lamp is well suited for a desk, mantel, or table; infusing any space light and style.
