14K Yellow Gold Bird Brooch with Jadeites

This delightful bird brooch no doubt took inspiration from the avian fauna of the natural world. Crafted in smooth and textured 14K yellow gold, this exotic bird on a branch is embellished with 6 pear-shaped jadeites and another 2 slightly smaller jadeites serve as petals on a nearby blossom. The 8 jadeites total 3.99 carats and are prong set. A cultured 6.88mm pearl is used for the head and accented by a bit of sparkle from a small orange sapphire eye.
