American Bronze Bald Eagle Sculpture

Entitled “American Fisherman”, this rendition of the bald eagle displays the magnificence of our nation’s symbol.  The bald eagle emblem ,first chosen in 1782, brings to mind great strength and independence that our forefathers sought to represent our new country.

The sculpture is number 26 of a limited edition of 36 and signed by the artist William Hald. It originally sold for $22,500.

The multi-hued sculpture depicts the eagle with a still wriggling fish in its talons while perched on a branch. With its beak open, the eagle may be sending out a triumphant cry. The sculpture sits atop a wooden base.
