American-English Salesman Sample Set of Surgeons Needles in Book Form

This vintage salesman’s presentation is a fascinating bit of history on the highest standards of surgical instruments, specifically surgical needles. It was compiled for use by the Chicago firm of V. Mueller & Co. and dates to the turn of the century.

Vinzenz Mueller established the company in the late 1800s, drawing on his knowledge of German instrument craftsmanship. The company grew to earn a worldwide reputation for excellence. The needles were supplied by Shrimpton & Fletcher Ltd. of England, a renowned expert in the needle-making industry.

This wonderful and insightful item from the historical world of medicine survives in excellent condition.
