American Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. #5 Emerald Double Dial Perpetual Calendar Clock

Ithaca Calendar Clock Company of New York notably crafted calendar clocks from the mid 19th century to the early 20th century. This rare #5 Emerald Double Dial Perpetual Calendar Clock features a dual display to give the viewer the time and date and an alarm feature most unusual in American clocks. A skeletonized escapement adds interest to the clock dial center, allowing the viewer to see the mechanism in motion. Furthermore,  perpetual complication enable the clock to self adjust for every deviation in month day and leap year. Rich black and burl walnut comprise the distinctive clock case. Serpentine sides and an elegant carved scroll and leaf crown further adorn the clock.

The fully restored 8-day movement strikes the hour and half-hour on a gong. This clock comes with a one year warranty.
