American Mahogany Aeolian Orchestrelle Player Pump Organ

A marvelous American Aeolian Orchestrelle player pump organ. Very impressive in a beautiful mahogany architecturally styled ornate case, displaying fluted columns and fretwork panels. Equally impressive is the fact that the Aeolian Orchestrelle was the highest achievement of mechanically operated reed organs. In addition to the music produced from the rolls, the operator’s hands are free to enhance play, adding expression and nuance by operating the various stops. This unique combination results in music of greater complexity than could be achieved with just manual or automatic organ play.

Dating to the early 20th Century, the stately Aeolian Orchestrelle was typically owned by the financially well situated. What a wonderful opportunity to acquire this fine player pump organ in such great condition that continues to intrigue and delight its players and audiences.
