This oversized mantel clock presents in a beautifully carved and shaped mahogany case with elegant scrolling sides. The time displays beneath a convex glass door on a silvered dial fitted with cast brass applied and patinated Arabic numerals and serpentine hands. Within, an 8-day mechanical movement keeps the time while the resonant Sonora chime marks the quarter hours on a nest of bells. The dial is signed “Seth Thomas, Sonora Chime” and a lever on the side of the case provides the option to silence the chime. And finally, this impressive mantel clock has been fully restored and bears a one-year warranty.
