American Tiffany Style Table Lamp by Gorham

This beautiful lamp was created by the Gorham Manufacturing Company of Providence, Rhode Island, one of America’s premier producers of sterling and silverplate. Gorham also operated a foundry at one time and produced items ranging from small, decorative pieces like this lamp to large statues and public monuments.

Dating to the 1920s, this Tiffany-style lamp features an elegant patinated cast-metal body embellished with acanthus leaf ornamentation on paw feet and raised on a trifid plinth base. The captivating leaded-glass shade is crafted in chartreuse, lime green, and a lustrous white, depicting a lovely floral and foliate motif that is is equally stunning whether illuminated or off.
