Angelus Chronodato Triple Calendar Chronograph Wristwatch
Introduced in the 1940s, the Angelus Chronodato was one of the first serially produced wristwatches to combine a chronograph with a complete calendar, establishing Angelus as one of the era’s most innovative Swiss watchmakers.
This example features a gold-filled case with a silver dial displaying the month and day through apertures, while a central hand indicates the date around the outer dial perimeter. Twin subsidiary dials provide running seconds and chronograph recording, creating the balanced, highly legible layout. Delicate gilt markers and hands lend warmth to the dial, while the generously sized 38mm case gives the watch a remarkably modern presence for its time.
