Edison Triumph Cylinder Phonograph with Cygnet Horn

An impressive Edison Triumph cylinder phonograph dating to circa 1910, capable of playing both two- and four-minute cylinders. The mechanism is housed in a handsome quarter-sawn oak case retaining its original Edison logo, with a removable domed cover for protection when not in use.

Its most dramatic feature is the towering oak Cygnet horn, whose graceful S-shaped form directs and amplifies the sound while placing less weight on the reproducer than a conventional straight horn. Standing 40 inches high, the richly grained wooden horn transforms the phonograph into a commanding display of early sound technology and craftsmanship.
