English Sir Walter Scott Memorial Skeleton Clock
Expert craftsmanship by Evans of Handsworth gives this English skeleton clock a commanding presence. Sir Walter Scott was a famed Scottish author. The monument constructed in his honor during the second half of the 19th century in Edinburgh, Scotland, is the inspiration for this skeleton clock. The clock resides under a glass dome on a wood base. Sir Walter Scott and his dog, Maida, are beautifully cast and sit below the engraved and silvered dial.
An eight day single train chain fusée movement strikes the hour with an unusual one-at-the-hour bell strike. This clock is fully restored with a one year warranty.
