English Victorian Pair of Silver Plate Four-Light Candelabra

A fabulous pair of Victorian silver plate candelabra in the Neoclassical style. Having a central candle socket over an ornamental sphere continuing to a central ornamental section from which 3 arms extend. The three acanthus leaf-wrapped arms scroll outward from griffin heads and terminate in a single socket with bobeche and wax pan.  Raised overall on a fluted column supported on a stepped tripod base with beading and elephant head motif. Also with wonderful hand-chased engravings and floral details.
