French Alabaster Lyre Clock

Crafted of smooth hand-carved alabaster, this exquisitely designed French clock takes the form of a musical lyre. Gleaming gilt decorations of garlands, swags, and beadwork cover the impeccably sculpted case in rich adornment, creating marvelous brilliance against the pale stone. A circular pendulum made of sparking brilliant-cut crystals hangs from the lyre’s string, oscillating back and forth around the clock face in a hypnotizing glittering motion. A two-train 8-day movement powers the clock, which strikes a bell on the hour and half hour. Finally, a decorative sunburst crowns the clock in an opulent flourish creating a beautiful silhouette.

This clock bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty.
