French Alabaster Mantel Clock

An early French mantel clock in solid alabaster. This lovely clock features wonderful hand carvings to the case depicting floral, swag and ribbon motifs, a decorative carved urn atop, and rests on bun feet. An eight-day movement keeps the time and marks the quarter hours on two bells. The dial features stylized Arabic numerals and Breguet style hands. Additionally, the foliate motif from the case carvings continue with richly embossed detail to the dial center and bezel. And finally this clock bears a full restoration and a one year warranty.
