French Bow Front Crystal Regulator with Champlevé Enamel

A beautiful French brass crystal regulator with colorful champlevé enamel retailed by Theodore B. Starr. The case is fitted with beveled glass panels on all sides with a convex front, and the vibrant colors of the champlevé enamel are eye-catching on all sides with embellishments to the columns, base, bezel, regulator, and the entire top.

Keeping the time within is an eight-day movement that marks the hour and 1/2 hour with a pleasant gong strike. The time displays on a hand-painted porcelain dial with Roman numerals, floral swag decoration and trident hands. Furthermore, this timepiece has been restored and includes a one-year warranty.
