A splendid early French carriage clock from Tiffany & Co. The handsome gilt brass case is appointed with a handle, ball finials, Tuscan quarter columns, floral engravings, and bun feet. Within, an 8-day movement keeps the time, marking the hour and half-hour with a bell strike. Also, with a repeat-at-will function activated by a button on the case top and an alarm. The time displays on a crisp white porcelain dial with Roman numerals, Breguet style hands, and a seconds hand. Two subsidiary dials beneath serve to mark the month and day of the year. All reside within an exquisite silvered dial mask with beautiful scrolling engraving. Further, this stunning timepiece bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty.
