French Patinated Spelter Sculptural Mantel Clock
This exceptional French mantel clock takes on the dramatic form of two birds in flight. Crafted of patinated spelter the dynamic sculpture features two seagulls soaring directly above a swelling ocean tide. The two birds display remarkable realism visible in the picturesque pose of their outstretched wings and the painstaking detail of each feather. The clock face rests at the center and features a porcelain dial with Arabic numerals to display the time.
An 8-day movement powers the clock which strikes the hour and half-hour on a bell.
This wonderfully artistic clock has undergone a complete restoration and a one-year warranty.
