Platinum Diamond and Sapphire Art Deco Era Ring
A chic presentation of Art Deco jewelry design, and a glittering display of diamonds and sapphires. This gleaming platinum dome-style ring boasts an artful array of shapes, airy piercing, engraving, and delicate milgrain. Delightful floral engravings on the shoulders add a charming touch. Resting at the center is a 0.46 carat miner-cut diamond, and 4 additional 0.46 carat miner-cut diamonds sparkle from their strategic placement within the dome. Rows of channel-set French-cut sapphires radiate in four directions from the center stone, accenting the diamonds and platinum with lovely flashes of blue.
The 5 miner-cut diamonds combine for a total weight of 2.30 carats and possess SI1-I1 clarity and H-K color ratings. French-cut stones were very popular in the Art Deco jewelry design era; in this case, there are 15 sapphires, each measuring 1.6mm. Currently this ring is a size 6.
This elegant ring is an Art Deco jewelry treasure.
