Rare Swiss Portable Case Cylinder Music Box

This rare Swiss cylinder music box has some unusual features — the 6″ cylinder, though small, plays 10 tunes with the accompaniment of 3 dome bells, and it also has a tune counter.  The beautifully crafted case has finely detailed box joints and decorative hardware for its portability.  The portability of this cylinder music box is in fact one of its most unusual features.  It is a wonderful example of the possibilities of a cylinder music box.
