Swiss Leather Covered Desk Clock by Gübelin

A handsome leather-covered desk clock from the distinguished house of Gübelin in Lucerne, Switzerland. In the middle 1800’s Gübelin established itself in the watch making business before moving into the luxury jewelry business it is known for today. This desk clock houses an 8-day 17 jewel movement within a case covered in tawny brown leather. The time displays on a silvered dial and Roman numerals on applied brass hide forms. Signed “E. Gubelain, Lucerne.” Further, this clock bears a full restoration and a one-year warranty. A great-looking clock and suitable for a variety of uses and decor.
