Vienna Bronze Figurine of a Young Woman

Prized for their artistic detail, Vienna bronzes feature beautiful, unique, and often humorous depictions. These clever sculptures feature such subject matter as; exotic or playful scenes, anthropomorphic figures, or children.

Often considered the most desirable and collectable genre of Austrian figurines, are erotic bronzes. These figures depict a taboo figure or scene, usually concealed by moving or removeable pieces.

This figure of a young woman dates back to the 1930s. The whimsical depiction features a nude woman reclining in chair with drink in hand, her dress removes  to reveal her hidden form underneath.
