American Victorian Era Opal & Diamond Ring by Allsopp Bros., Circa 1900
Delicate in scale yet rich in period character, this charming American ring was crafted by Allsopp Bros., the respected Newark, New Jersey, jewelry manufacturer known for its finely engraved gold mountings and elegant turn-of-the-century designs. Centered by a luminous 0.20-carat oval opal displaying lively flashes of green, blue, and soft orange, the ring is framed by six sparkling old mine and single-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.18 carats. Arranged in a graceful floral cluster, the diamonds beautifully complement the opal’s iridescent glow.
The warm 14K yellow gold mounting is enhanced with finely engraved shoulders and elegant scrollwork, reflecting the refined craftsmanship of the turn of the twentieth century.
