This engaging painting by British artist Leonard Richmond captures a mountainous Canadian landscape. Leonard Richmond was a painter, teacher, and a published author of instructional painting books. He spent a good part of his life in Canada where he served as a war artist for the Canadian government in World War I and then was commissioned for railway promotional art. He received numerous art awards and his works are exhibited in various museums.
