Pair of Diminuative Bronze Bacchanalian Dancers

A spirited pair of European bronze figures depicting a male and female reveler caught in the midst of music and dance. Inspired by the ancient festivals of Bacchus, the figures embody the movement and abandon associated with Bacchanalian celebration.

Each scantily clad figure is modeled in a lively, elevated pose, with arms raised, flowing drapery billowing behind, and handheld instruments marking the rhythm of the dance. Finely cast details define their expressive faces, textured hair, graceful anatomy, and deeply folded garments. Their warm, richly patinated surfaces contrast beautifully with circular black marble pedestals.

8″ High x 4″ Wide x 3″ Deep
