Patinated Miniature Bronze Roman Centurion Sculpture

A striking European bronze sculpture depicting a seated Roman centurion in full battle dress, dating to the late 1880s. Despite its diminutive scale, the figure is remarkably detailed, from the layered military armor and fringed shoulder guards to the carefully modeled belt and drapery.
