Quarter-Sawn Oak Cylinder Record Cabinet and Phonograph Stand

Crafted in the early 1900s, this American cabinet gave a cylinder phonograph a place to stand and its records a home close at hand. Five drawers provide storage beneath the top, keeping a collection organized and ready to play. The quarter-sawn oak grain brings movement across the drawer fronts, while the cabinet’s simple, upright form makes the wood the focus.

It is an appealing companion to an antique phonograph, with a practical purpose that remains as enjoyable today as it was when cylinder records were part of the household.
