Roman Coin Enhancer Pendant in 18K Yellow Gold with Rubies
Classical history and distinctive jewelry design unite in this eye-catching enhancer pendant, which centers on a Roman coin enveloped in 18K yellow gold. The artistic design encases the coin within a thick bezel of gold, topped by a decorative bar accented at each end with a ruby cabochon, and attached to the ribbed enhancer bale. The bale is designed with a clasp allowing for easy transfer to other necklaces and chains. To complete the look, the pendant is displayed on a 16-inch rope chain, also 18K yellow gold.
The front of the coin depicts Roman emperor Valerius Licinianus Licinius in profile, who ruled from 308 CE to 324 CE, and the reverse depicts the standing Roman God Jupiter. While the coin is rooted in history, its exact age is unknown. The reverse side of the gold pendant is engraved with the dates of Licinius’s rule in Roman numerals.
Chic and substantial, this enhancer pendant beautifully unites ancient and modern, creating timeless versatility and making it an impressive addition to any jewelry collection.
