Art Deco Tank Wristwatch by Glycine
This chic Art Deco wristwatch, dating to the 1930s, was produced by the esteemed Swiss house of Glycine. Glycine was established in Bienne, Switzerland, by Eugène Meylan and quickly became known for timepieces of exceptional finish and quality. This fine example was crafted in gleaming 18K white gold, in a sleek tank case with decorative foliate and floral engravings to the sides and winding crown. The timepiece features a 17-jewel manual movement, while the time is displayed on the original silvered dial, appointed with Arabic numerals and blued steel sword hands. A subsidiary seconds hand is situated at the 6 position.
In addition to its excellent condition, this Glycine timepiece also bears a full restoration and an 18-month warranty.
