Zenith Two-Register Chronograph, Circa 1940

Elegant and understated, this Zenith chronograph embodies the clean, purposeful design that defined many of the Swiss wristwatches of the 1940s. Housed in a stainless steel case, it features its original silvered dial with applied gold triangular hour markers, matching gilt baton hands, and twin subsidiary registers that create a balanced, highly legible display. Decades of gentle aging have lent the dial a warm patina, adding character while preserving the watch’s authentic vintage appeal.

Powering the watch is a Universal Genève caliber 146D, a 17-jewel manual-wind chronograph movement supplied to Zenith during an era when collaboration among Switzerland’s premier manufacturers produced some of the most desirable chronographs of the period. Combining refined proportions with sporting functionality, this Zenith remains a wonderful example of mid-century Swiss watchmaking.

This watch has been restored and comes with an 18-month warranty.

The case measures 43mm.
